Due to the global pandemic there have been many worries from you all about my trip as well as logistical concerns from AIM and with all of these concerns and doubts running through your mind as well as my own and with some new options given to all of us on the October route, I have made the decision to postpone my trip until August of next year. Some of my squad mates have chosen to continue on our October route even though it is different from how it was originally supposed to be. The October route will now launch in the states and travel to major cities from more local mission work for the first three months with the hope of launching internationally in January. Some of them have picked the January route because they feel called to simply go international. I feel called to the Pacific Rim and they will be launching one again in August.

AIM will also be using a new model for their routes. They will set up the routes in regions based on where they have a mission headquarters. So I would again start in central america but this time I would start at their headquarters in Nicaragua and be sent to neighboring countries from there. South America will start in Ecuador, and Asia will start in Cambodia or Thailand depending on where another route will start their Asian journey.

Now, fundraising will be just like it is now. All of the money you have donated so far will simply transfer to my new route. The total needed for the trip may change slightly but not a significant amount. And since August is a full year away I have more time to raise funds. It’s the perfect month to decide to send a monthly donation of whatever amount you can spare for the next year. There are a few of you who have already committed to donating monthly and I truly appreciate you. We have also sold 78 boxes on my current fundraiser and there are still two gift card prizes left in the boxes and we only need 12 more sold for me to do another “punishment”. Maybe I should call them challenges. To see the video of my first challenge go check out my updated fundraiser blog post.

Please continue your prayers for me as I prepare for this journey and the long wait for its arrival. If anyone wants to talk to me about my trip feel free to give me a call at 812-525-0257. I love and appreciate all of you!
